SECRET PLACE

Don’t Forget: Worship & Prayer Set begins at 12:00 pm.

Begin: Gather your family, put away technology/devices, and grab your Bibles.

Read it:

Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God.

Do it:

Have each person in your family find their own “secret place” with the Lord. It could be your room, your closet, a comfy chair, the back patio, or anywhere you want to spend time with God. Go to your secret place and sit with God. Be still. Don’t try to pray, read, or do something for God; just be with Him. After a few minutes, open your Bible to Psalm 23 and read it out loud. Parents assist as needed.

Try to memorize some or all of this passage. Journal about it. Draw a picture that comes to your mind when you think about Psalm 23.

Come together as a family and share about your time with Jesus.

Pray it:

Father, we love being with you. Thank you for speaking to us during this time we spent with you in our secret places. Holy Spirit, help us find more time to be with you and the strength to choose you more.
